It is impossible to imagine a modern kitchen with a refrigerator. Refrigerators are the most used home appliances in all the kitchens. No other home appliance gets as much preference as a refrigerator. We think it would be true for everyone if we say that refrigerators are the most frequently used home appliances. Nothing is used as frequently as a refrigerator, a juicer, air fryer, or toaster.

Given the frequency and the nature of their use, refrigerators must always be in clean and pristine condition. A neat and clean refrigerator doesn’t only improve the look of your kitchen but also keeps your food fresh for longer. To keep your food fresher and healthier, you must clean and service your refrigerator regularly.

At first, it might seem like a difficult task that needs professional care; if you think like that, you are wrong. It doesn’t take a professional to clean your refrigerator correctly. You can do it easily by yourself.
Here is a simple and easy guide to help you clean your refrigerator effectively with convenience.

1. Turn off the refrigerator:

The first thing you need to do is to turn off your refrigerator because your safety comes before everything else. By turning off your fridge, you eliminate all the electrical risks, and now you can get into every nook and corner without having to worry about getting electrocuted.

2. Empty your refrigerator:

The second obvious step of the process is to take out all the items from your refrigerator and empty it.

3. Take out all the shelves and drawers:

Now you have to take out all the removable shelves and drawers from your refrigerator. We recommend hand washing all of them. If there are hard stains, you can soak them into soap water for some time and then rinse them off. Always dry all the shelves and drawers before putting them in again.

4. Cleaning interiors:

While cleaning the interiors, it is always better to use cleaning products that have a mild smell and are not strong. Using edibles like white vinegar or baking soda is even better. To apply your cleaner (whatever kind you choose), use a soft scrub, and for the spots with tough stains, you can use a toothbrush. After you are done with cleaning, wipe the interiors with a clean and dry cloth.

5. Cleaning exteriors:

Now is the time to clean the body of your refrigerator. To clean the exterior, use a soft microfibre cloth and some soapy water. Wipe down the entire surface and then again use the microfibre cloth, but this time without the soapy water. Lastly, wipe off all the water from the surface with a soft dry cloth, and you are good to go!
