We are all quite petrified because of the sudden outrageous outbreak of COVID-19 (a terrifying pandemic which has wrecked the entire globe havoc). Since the entire globe is in an unprecedented state, we as a unit must think of some preventive measures to stop the contamination, or the terror. This pandemic has proven to be mentally, emotionally and physically challenging for mankind – so even after the slow relaxation provided by the Government from the lockdown scenario (which was implemented by the Govt to cease the outbreak, at the first place), we must be smart enough to abide by some preventive measures.

As we are aware that the lockdown is being lifted slowly, our services are on the brink of reopening. So we want to convey a message, loud and clear, to our esteemed customers – that we have circulated a handful of preventive steps to avoid possible contamination. So let’s go through them in details.

1) Uses of Masks are obligatory:

Since we are planning to resume our maintenance services, we have made sure that the service provider (who will be called up by customers as per requirement) must be wearing a fully protective mask. Why? Because, when a infected person coughs or sneezes, he/she ejects the contaminated fluid in the air, which spreads the infection furthermore. So if masks are used, the infection through effected fluid can be taken out of consideration.

2) Service Providers must use gloves while they provide service:

If we analyse the reason behind the dissemination of this virus – we would easily understand why the servicemen should be wearing gloves, especially when they are repairing something in a customer’s residence. Touching the desks, tables or even the telephones which has been contaminated by the infected fluid (for instance a person who is affected, sneezes and the droplets fall on surfaces like tables, desks etc.) can succour the germ to spread abruptly. So we have made this mandatory for our capable employees, to cover their hands with gloves.

3) Carrying sanitizers, so that germs could be washed away before they can prepare for invasion:

It was already proclaimed that Sanitizers with over 60% alcohol can be used to wash away the pathogens. So following that convention, we have made it imperative for our efficient service providers, to wash their hands with a sanitizer (with more than 60% alcohol) before and after they enter the customer’s residence. Accidentally if they miss out on carrying sanitizer, they must request our customers to provide them with soap and water. By the dint of this measure, the chances of contamination will reduce considerably as it would directly kill the germs and stop the proliferation.

4) Maintaining Social Distancing:

During the early days of the outbreak, we must have been acquainted with the term “Social Distancing” – which implies, that we must maintain a one-metre gap from every individual. Since this precautionary step has proved to be really effective, we have adapted it with full strictness. We have instructed our employees to keep a metre apart from another individual, especially while they are on service (in customer’s residence). As they will be a metre apart, the infection won’t be able to catch another individual.

5) Contactless Service as much as possible:

Since contact is one of the major ways by which the infection can spread, we have decided to incur contactless service as much as possible. Well, it’s sort of obvious that this measure can’t be fully achieved because the service providers have to touch things if they are supposed to repair something. So in that scenario, our employees are instructed to wash their hands (with sanitizer or soap) as soon as they complete their task.

So these are the top five preventive measures introduced by us. Nevertheless, we are also promoting social awareness amongst our employees. The biggest measure which should be adapted by any individual, irrespective of any field, is – consciousness. More you become conscious, lesser the chances of getting infected.
